Excited!!

It was announced last night,

I am the new DT member at

SCRAPBOOK SAVVY!!

I am so excited,

It's been a while since I have been on a DT,

or even a part of a forum!

try again...

 Last friday night Karen and I had a scrapping night,

Just a few hours at her place, we went into her scraproom, left the kids with their fathers and shut the door lol... We had a few drinks, lots of laughs, finished a few pages, and didnt spill anything.. A very successful night lol..!

So these are the pages I finished, all of which I put up on the Purple Pumpkin blog on Sunday..

Rewards system

We have started working on a rewards system at home for jed and his reading. He is to read all of one small book or part of a big book each weekday to get a stamp on his chart which is now stuck to the front of the pantry lol. He has struggled with reading from the start so I am hoping the rewards system gets results. Tonight he read one of zayne's new spot books, with help from me. It took him just over 30 minutes...

October 15th... STUCK?!

Mid month sketch at STUCK?! sketches...

I have changed it up again, removing hte top circle all together, and swapping the bottom circle for a butterfly..

I scrapped another selfie of me and Mark..

13 years together and we have hardly any piccies of the 2 of us.

Love that cute litte Purple Pumpkin button sneaking in there under the butterfly ♥

The sideways PP was entirely unintentional lol,

I was talking on the phone when I cut it, not paying attention, but I kind of like how it turned out!

the same, but different...

These layouts have all been created for challenges,

and have turned out quite similar in style lol.

I made myself the spotty mask and have used it often!

First up Scrap the Boys...

Challenge was to use a handmade embellishment.

I have used one of Charms lollipops, as well as a Purple Pumpkin button!

 Next up Scrap the Girls..

Challenge was to use 'love' in the title, and distressing.

I had forgotten the distressing part, lucky I always do that anyway lol.

 Lastly is White with ONE..

The challenge for this one was WHITE + BLACK + PAINT/MIST

I have obviously used paint.

The photo of this layout really doesnt do it justice, I actually think it is one of my all time faves!

I have done a few other pages recently too,

which I may share at another time..

This beautiful baby boy turns 3 today...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZAYNEY...

WE LOVE YOU SO BIG!

Today...

Was the last day of my sweet little man being 2..
The last day I will ever have a 2 year old!!

We had his birthday party today, and he had a few little guys come over to celebrate with him... I will do a bday post another time. The pic is him, tani and jed playing with his new car racing set from nanny. He loves it <3

Just a nothing post really... I need to schedule a blog post and have never done it before, so this is just to test if it works lol.

I have just upgraded to a newer version of internet explorer and it wont let me type from the middle :( How annoying, I dont like typing from the edge lol....

At the beginning of the year I decided to do the one family photo a month,

for a year thing.

Well, honestly that turned out to be an epic fail.

(I hate the word epic btw, but it just seemed to fit lol)

SOOOOO.... Maybe I will try again.

We went away to Bermagui for the weekend,

and I made sure I was in SOME pics.

I hate pics of me, with an absolute passion, but looking back on photo's from previous holidays you would almost think we were a family of FOUR, not five.

So excited!!!

The new DESIGN TEAM has been announced over at

PURPLE PUMPKIN....

and I made the cut!!

I'm so excited,

I only brought some of their buttons for the first time a few months ago,

and I am HOOKED, I love them so much!

I am blogging these from my phone, so I have no idea if it will work or not lol.
We are in bermi, although it was forecast to rain all weekend the weather yesterday afternoon was fantastic. We went out for lunch then headed to the blue pools for a wander and the kids stuck their feet in (and me lol) it was FREEZING!! zayne stripped and got in to his little boobies :( we then headed to the beach and the kids got all wet, imagine that lol. Then to belinda's for tea <3

Just a few pics, taken with my phone.. I have no idea where they will be on the page lol. My new fave pic, the one of me playing in the water with the kids!! <3

Sheri took the 2 ocean ones, the other is my boys standing at the end of one of the main wharfs, there weren't many boats in.

Just a quick one i whipped up this afternoon after cleaning my desk from last weeks effort lol.

She wanted them done for her 8th birthday,
but we waited until the school holidays, just incase they were sore..
She was great, she said they barely hurt,
and so far they have been good... (touch wood lol)

The challenge was to use some household 'ephemera'..

I have used a tag off Zayne's new Thomas pjamas he will be getting for his birthday.... {shh lol}

KRAFT IT UP!

The challenge was fabric and stitching,

of which I have used both!

{and Kraft of course}

Journaling on this layout is about Tani telling me I look like a blowfly when I'm wearing these glasses... Which I do lol.

I had another pair of sunnies,

which BROKE, and these are my only back-ups.. I can NOT go outside with no sunnies :(

Tanika's 8th Birthday!

This year my beautiful baby girl turned EIGHT!!

I know i say it all the time,

but i really cant believe how fast she is growing up :(

She is such a beautiful person,

inside and out and I just love her to bits!!

So this year she had a birthday party,

she had the choice between a sleepover (inviting 3 girls)

or a party (inviting 12 girls)...

She chose a PARTY (pheeeeeew, wiping my brow lol)..

She had one girl not turn up, so the ones that we here were..

Liana, Tully, Phoebe, Molly, Caitlin, Sharni, Lara, Zoe, Chantelle, Chloe, Ebony...

as well as her baby bro Zayne, and Bryelle and James..

Tegan done her hair, and she looked so pretty ♥

Well i just thought i would come and have a chat to myself.

About the weather lol.

It is the 4th of August today,

and it is HOT!

I am absolutely loving it,

the heater is off,

the clothes are on the line,

the kids are wearing t-shirts (im not lol).

I cant believe how warm it is,

there are already blossoms on the trees,

and people are out mowing their lawns,

it FEELS LIKE SPRING!

I know its going to get cold again,

but for the moment I am soaking it in and loving it!

This was inspired by my snow pics a few posts down,

its just so hard to believe that wasnt all that long ago!

Me and him, we spend our days together..

It's not often I get my camera out these days,

but i just thought i would snap a few pics of him in the backyard.

Complete with a milky way bribe lol..

I got a couple of good ones :)

On another note,

the weather here has been crazy warm,

considering its winter.

I have the back door open and the heater off,

and the clothes line is chockers full of clothes and towels.

I'm loving it!
