yep i'm going to do a post,

a REAL post,

it's been a long, long time,

and to be honest I wasnt sure I was going to be adding personal pics etc,

on here any more..

But here goes...

We went to the snow yesterday 26/6 with a few other people..

and I took PICS!! lol

I am hardly getting my camera out these days,

I am more so going with the flow and enjoying the moment,

so while I did get pics,

there arent many lol..

I think the story of the day will be when we pulled some QLDers
out of a bog..
They had driven off the side of the road and parked somewhere
they really shouldnt have.. so they could toboggan.
They had been stuck for quite a while before we got there,
but they got out so all was well in the end!!

I find my self lacking in motivation, time and creativity.

also its REALLY cold at my desk lol.

Hi all....

Just letting you all know,

I'm still alive and kicking...

I know its been forever since I updated in here,

but my past month has been massively hectic!

I just have a few minutes now

before taking Tani to dancing,

which she started a few

weeks before the end of last term..

She is loving it so far,

I will have to get a pic of her once she gets

the rest of her

dance costume today {hopefully}.

I may have a few pics from easter to share,

I havent even looked at them yet :-/

Unfortunately I have NO scrapping :-(

Just realised I havent shared yet..

Last month was a hard month for me,

I tend to be a very private person,

and don't share a lot of what is happening that is close to my heart..

My Pop passed away early in february,

and it was VERY hard on me,

as we were quite close,

and as you might imagine it impacted my scrapping massively.

The last thing I wanted to do was my scrapping commitments,

BUT I very much believe in doing things I say I am going to do,

so even though it was the last thing I wanted to do,

I did get in and do them.

They are a long way from my best work,

but I am OK with that..

I done this page for one of the latest sub themes for SBM,

it was black, white + one {pink for me lol}

It was one of my fave pages in a long long time,

but they didnt like it... ah well

The time has come...

for me to step down from my DT position at Bons.

I have thought about for a long time,

and finally decided last night that it was the right thing for me at this time.

I am sad about it,

as when i joined over there it was a fantastic place to hang out.

But I guess as the saying goes,

all good things must come to an end..

Yep, it's been a while...

We have had a lot going on in the past couple of months,

and the LAST thing I have felt like doing was scrapping...

But I just felt like it the other day,

and came up with these...

{just so you know, I felt guilty after my messy house post and went and

cleaned it instead of scrapping lol}

They are all in a way loosely inspired by Fran Tynan

I love the way she uses masking tape!!

This one is using up bits and pieces I had left from

Bons february Boy Kit..

today...

MY house is a PIGSTY,

and I mean it is bad,

I hate it like this.....

But I FEEL like SCRAPPING,

so I am scrapping!

I haven't had the urge in SO long,

and it feels good!

For the moment I have forgotten about all

of my commitments,

and am scrapping just for ME... :D

Bad Blogger

This year has been a shocker...

How is it possible to be so busy ALL the time,

and yet have done nothing?

I have so much scrapping i NEED to do,

and yet my mojo has once again gone AWOL.

I have done nothing creative wise,

other than what i HAVE to do for months!

It's possible it is hiding underneath my stash,

along with my desk lol,

but I am yet to find out!

I have decided though,

that it is about time I done something for me,

that I have been wanting to do for MANY MANY years.

I am hoping/trying to start my own photography business.

As it is just in the very early stages

I have started a FB page,

just to see how I go..

Today, I decided to TRY to get a family pic,

once each month for the year... {as seen on Tara Whitney's blog}

Seeing as today is the 2nd last day of the month,

and the last day we will all be together,

besides from a few rushed hours in the morning,

it had to be today!

I got a pic, of everyone looking and smiling,

but this is the one i love the most...

Zayne wanted to take a pic, so he pushed the button,

and we both raced back for the pic.

He obviously moved the camera while he was at it,

but thats OK..

I love it just the way it is!

Wonder if i will manage the whole year??

I seriously doubt it lol...

Love the design of this one, the VERY rare photo of me and my

girl, and the journalling. The best thing about the 'write now' challenges

is the fact that they push you out of your comfort zone,

and make you write about something you normally wouldn't!

So so hard to pick my faves, as i said as i have had a great scrapping year,where i have loved most things i have done. One thing i have noticed though, is that although i do get quite a lot of pages accepted for publication very rarely are they the ones i LOVE..Which is a shame, but never mind.

After seeing all these pages now i REALLY wish my mojo would come home :-(
