I done my page about our family photo's. Last year I intended to do Project 5 people, 12 times, but I failed miserably. This year I hope to get it right!

This year I am doing a 52 week album.... MY way!

I have brought a SMASH journal, and I have started! 

Week ONE is done, it is simple, it is messy, but it is there, the MEMORY... forever!

I am also doing Project 365 {+1}

I have downloaded the app onto my iphone, I am up to day 13 and going strong.

All pics {bah one} have been taken using my iPhone so far.

The Memories are there, and I am loving it ♥ 

I havent yet decided if I will be sharing my 52 week album online or not, but this is a little sneaky of the 'front page'... This page was the decider for my 'word'

January is always crazy busy around here, with school holidays etc, and this is so far the only layout I have managed. It's fairly simple, not sure if I love it.. MOJO isn't really flowing at the moment.

We are having roast lamb for dinner here tonight, it's been a long long long time since we had one!! It's almost ready and smells oh so good. Jeddie will miss out as he is still at Farm Poppy and Auni's place, 3rd night tonight!!

New years camping..

 This year over New Years we went camping at Blowering Dam with Matt and Karen..

I didn't take a lot of photo's, which makes the ones I did take even better lol.

 I have uploaded them at a very small size as I am sick of waiting an hour for my photo's to upload, and then having them dissapear when I try to add them here, so they are probably crappy quality, but rest assured they are awesome IRL... hahahaha.

 We spent 2 nights over there, and it was HOT... So HOT. We had a great time, but in reality I couldn't wait to get home and out of that sticky heat!! We arrived home with not even a spot of sunburn too!! 

So just a few piccies... I took more on my iphone, but will just show these :)

A new year!!

I was going to do a top 10 of 2011 layouts post, but so far I just haven't had a chance. I did try the other day but blogger just deleted all my pics instead of loading them :( so I gave up.. Hopefully this week I will get a chance though!

First up is for the new sketch at Purple Pumpkin.. This is the 2nd page I created for this sketch, it's not often I will re-do a page, but I really hated the first one. Love this one though, so all is good!

So over the past few days I have seen on Facebook so many people say good riddance to 2011. Now I have in no way had a fab year after losing a loved one in February, but I can truly say besides that I have had a good year. I am happy, my family is happy, we are all in good health and we have a roof over our heads and food on our table every night. We have hard times and sad times like everyone else, but I choose to celebrate the happy times rather than dwell on the bad or sad. So tonight I will say goodbye 2011, thanks for the good times and welcome 2012, looking forward to the life, happy times and whatever else you may bring. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! See you on the flip side :)

These past few days I have been busy busy trying to get all my ct and dt pages done. I only have 1 left to do for January now lol.
Today I got a little package in the mail from the lovely charm, with some of her gorgeous creations in it. I am soooo in love with the heart, I hope to get more in her next sale :) I would link but this post is brought to you from my iPhone in my bed as I can't sleep lol.

Merry Christmas

1980's

 There is nothing I love more than flicking through old photo's and seeing what we were like soooo long ago!

This first one is myself and my brother Craig. I love how much I see my own kids in the pic, and I think we were super cute back then too lol.

This photo is one I have never really in the past paid much attention to. I have cropped it down as it was the last pic on the film I think, and had that big red/white section on one side. Now I ♥ it! It would have to be around 1987 I think.

This one has always been one of my faves. Nan had it in a frame at her place for a long time, I'm not sure its still there though. I think from the size of Mark in this one it would be 1986.

 Just want to say thanks to all those who stopped by and left comments, its nice to know some people do still stop by lol... I am running out the door atm, but will stop by all your blogs, tonight, or when I get a chance lol.

I just have 2 layouts to share today.. First one is using the Merry Savvy BRIGHT kit, as mentioned in the post below, and yes I can still get MORE layouts from this kit!!!

This page was really a just because page, and I must say I think its a new fave ♥ 

although I did manage to get that black mister hueys in all kinds of places I didnt want it, both on my desk and on the layout lol.. I used this page to showcase the red vinyl heart on my latest Purple Pumpkin blog post!

November reading.

All dates are stamped!! He got a free pass for the last week since we were just so busy, with school concerts, tani's dance etc, but he is right back into it now! He is reading chapter books now, they are called zac power test drive, the text is HUGE which helps him a bit I think. He reads one chapter per night, there are usually only about 6 chapters to a book though lol. The best thing is he wants to do it. :)

MORE She's Savvy...

 Finally I have managed to play with my She's Savvy kit a little more...

After a crazy busy week I had plenty of time today to scrap and wouldn't you know it, my mojo was AWOL.. I managed to whip up the first 3 pages this afternoon though.. I have added a teensy bit of Purple Pumpkin products here and there, and some masking tape and dymo labels, but pretty much everything else is from the kit.. The last page was done last week..

Christmas Photo...

 Last weekend we went for a drive with the kids to take the traditional Santa Hat photo's....

But while we were there my camera stuffed up and all my photo's deleted.

I'm not totally sure, but I think it was my 50mm lens that is buggered not the camera, which is still sad, but not devastating as it would have been if it was my camera! I'm still going to keep an eye on it, but hopefully its OK!

So after I lost all the photo's  I took I came back here and just snapped a few using my normal lens..

These are just a couple as I am using it as a test post for Facebook lol..
